How it Works

Most of the learning is accomplished through experiential directives, activities and elaboration so that the course maximizes the developmental learning potential of each student. These experiential directives or exercises encourage the children to “role play” as play is a necessary task of childhood and one of the primary modes of learning.

The foundation of the program is based on the concept of the circulation of money though the economy and the energy money provides. The lessons build and expand from this core concept of circulation and money energy, exploring and understanding the unique emotions, feelings, and associations of thought which are experienced at each stage.

The lessons unfold as a new, exciting and engaging journey for the students. Each lesson is broken up into participatory group activities, lasting between 8 and 10 minutes each. Utilizing an in class student “Fun Book” along with over 150 characters, icons, worksheets, images, symbols, sounds and inanimate objects, student’s activity participate in ‘jig saw’ style learning, where all students are all responsible and dependent on each other.

These activities build on each other and maintain an informational continuity flow from one activity, lesson and module to the next.

The Teachers lesson plans are detailed step by step instructions to use while teaching as well as an academic understanding of the financial, psychological and cognitive concepts related to children and money management.
